DESCRIPTION

Short, light in weight silk braid lariat necklace in earthy colours. The chunky silk braid includes tones of orange, yellow, cream, grey and some black and consists of hand-spun silk ribbon, recycled sari silk, embroidery cotton and thin strands of micro-macrame cord for strength. One end of the lariat has a braided loop through which you slip the smaller of the two raw smokey Citrines in the other end. When closed, the two ends meet at the front, forming a 'tassel' of silks and knotted strands with Pyrite, Picture Jasper and raw Citrine in dark smokey tone. This piece would also look lovely as a wrap-around bracelet if you prefer - soft and chunky, it wraps around a 6.5" wrist twice.

The total length of this lariat necklace, from end to end: 41 cm (16"). The larger Citrine is approx. 2 cm (0.8") wide. The 'tassel' hanging down when the lariat is closed, is approx. 5 cm (2"). The width of the chunky silk braid is approx. 1cm (0.4").
