DESCRIPTION

One-of-a-kind wisdom keeper necklace featuring an antique, intricately embossed brass container, often referred to as 'etui'. Whilst the antique market where I came across this little treasure referred to it as hailing from the Victorian era, my further research places this one in the 1920s, although similar containers were also made through to the 1950s as well. Originally it is likely this 'etui' contained small sewing items, but you can obviously use it for your own tiny treasures, whether a paper with written affirmations, some herbs, or other ritual items.

The necklace is minimally braided with gold and brown micro-macrame cords, strong and durable, yet soft and comfortable to wear. There necklace braid is accented with Citrine, Lapis Lazuli and Gold Rutile Quartz crystals. 

The necklace is adjustable from very short down to solar plexus level. The brass container is just under 5 cm (2") tall, with the lower part having a depth of 3.5 cm (1.4") when opened. The diameter of opening is just under 2 cm (0.8").
