Shipping, Packaging & Returns

I’m based in Derbyshire, United Kingdom and ship to most countries via Royal Mail Tracked delivery.

Shipping costs
For standard weight items the shipping cost starts at £3.50GBP within UK, £10GBP (approx. 11EUR) to Europe, and £11.70GBP (approx. $17US) to the USA, Canada, Australia & Japan. Heavier items will cost slightly more but you will see the amount before your purchase is final.

Combined shipping
If you buy multiple items in the same transaction, the shipping cost will be an estimate based on the combined weight. When I take your package to the post office, if the cost turns out to be less than what you paid for, I *always* refund the difference to you afterwards, at the time of emailing you the tracking number. Also, if you buy something and within a few hours decide you also want something else, I'm very happy to combine the purchases to be sent in one package - this saves in shipping cost as I refund any excess you have paid.

Shipping a gift to someone else
If you want to buy a gift for someone and get it shipped directly to your recipient, you can simply enter the billing address as yours and the shipping address as where you want the package to go. You can write any instructions in the 'Notes' field in the order form, such as if you'd like me to write a little note on your behalf to go with your gift etc.

Shipping times
Whenever possible, I aim to post your purchase within 1-2 days after receiving the payment. Friday orders will be shipped on Monday. The arrival estimate to international destinations (outside the United Kingdom) is normally 7-9 business days but on occasion it has taken up to 14-21 days if there are customs delays on the way.

Customs fees
If you're in the USA, you don't need to worry about customs charges as the import fee limit is very high - I've not yet ever had an order so huge that it would have incurred any additional costs when sending to the USA. By now, having sold to several countries over the years, I'm aware of the customs limits of most places where I have customers so can advise you if you're concerned. As a buyer, you would be responsible for any and all possible import duties and customs charges that may be incurred according to the laws of your country.

Packaging
I send most jewellery items in one of my custom-made fabric drawstring pouches with bead details that match the colours of the crystal amulet you have bought. The pouch is also a nice way of keeping your crystal amulet safe when not wearing it.

Occasionally the description in meditation mala listings gives you a choice of pouch: fabric or leather. Please write your preference in the 'Notes' field during the check-out process.

I will send your purchase to you beautifully gift-wrapped for no extra charge - just because I love seeing my work on its way with that final little touch! 

And of course your item will be securely packaged to protect it during its postal journey.

Returns Policy
When you receive your order, I hope of course it is everything you hoped for and more, but in case you want to return the item for any reason, please email me straight away expressing your wish to return. According to EU distance selling regulations, you can return an online purchase for any reason within 14 days. I follow a specific return procedure if you are outside of Europe, so please contact me for detailed advice before sending anything back. You will receive a full refund for your purchase when I receive it back unused and in its original condition. You will need to pay for the return postage. Please note that for hygienic reasons, earrings are non-returnable.

Refunds in case of delays 
In case of long postal delays, please get in contact with me. You can also check the status of your order's journey by entering the tracking number from your order confirmation email on this webpage: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item. If you are based in the US, once your order lands on US soil, you'll get more up-to-date tracking info by entering your tracking number on this webpage: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input

I adhere to PayPal's Buyer Protection policy, so if the tracking info shows your package has not arrived after 40 days (international) or 20 days (domestic) from the posting date, I'll refund your purchase. If the package then turns up later, you can decide to either re-pay and keep the item, or simply return to sender un-opened.

Refunds in case of loss
If a package was to get lost while in the hands of the postal service, I would be just as disappointed as you about it, so would do my utmost to make things right. With unique items it's always difficult to replace with exactly the same, but together we'll figure something out, whether a refund or a replacement! (Luckily, I haven't yet experienced a fully lost package, only a few delivery delays in my ten years of selling internationally.)
