In the olden days, hagstones (rocks with natural holes in them) were used as charms for all sort of purposes - mainly for protection and good luck.

This Flint hagstone talisman is strung through its natural hole with brown leather cord (reindeer hide from Lapland). You adjust the level at which to wear the stone by moving the antler bead up or down the cord.

The size of the Hagstone is approx. 4.5 cm (1.8") at its longest measurement. At its longest, the necklace braid has an all-around length of 72cm (28").
