DESCRIPTION

Contemporary meditation mala with traditional Tibetan Buddhist bead count of 108 in Chevron Amethyst and Citrine.

The main counter beads are Chevron Amethyst, meaning the Amethyst includes veins of Quartz (often forming a 'chevron' pattern). Quartz magnifies the healing properties of other crystals, in this instance those of Amethyst. The three dividers in the mala consist of natural, unheated Citrine in deep honey hue, highlighted with small Citrine and pale lavender Amethyst crystals. The guru bead is a combination of the same, including a rough cut Chevron Amethyst.

The counter beads are individually knotted by hand for ease of handling, with muted purple micro-macrame cord. This mala comes in one of my handmade soft brown leather pouches for safe-keeping. If you would rather have a fabric pouch, please let me know at the time of purchase.

I draw artistic inspiration for these contemporary yoga meditation beads from the ancient decorative Buddhist malas from Tibet that were often given as gifts to Chinese courts and called "Chinese court necklaces". I match the stones and crystals carefully to create an energetic combination in the mala that will benefit the keeper in an individual way. All of my malas are one-of-a-kind.

Whilst this mala is made with Tibetan Buddhist bead count (108 beads), all Spirit Carrier malas are dedicated to the Highest Good of All – its future keeper may bless the mala for their own purpose and use it for their own personal way of meditation.

CHEVRON AMETHYST
The veins of Quartz that run within the Amethyst in formation of a chevron amplify the energy of the Amethyst. Chevron Amethyst is said to enhance peace of mind, self-discovery as well as to promote relaxation. A stone of spiritual transformation. Help facilitate changes in one's life and supports one's inner strength. Associated with the crown chakra, known as a "stone of balance" and positive transformation. Thought to increase spiritual awareness and psychic abilities, initiating higher knowing and greater understanding. Helps in assimilating new ideas and manifesting thoughts into action. Symbolises a connection to the Divine.

CITRINE
Gives a powerful alignment with the higher self. Balances the emotions and makes the mood sunny and cheerful. Brings clarity of thought, and attracts abundance through joy. Powerful transformer in healing work. Increases self-confidence and optimism, cleanses the surrounding energies and promotes creative thinking. Releases, dissipates and transforms denser energies on all levels, mental, emotional and physical. Works to release limitations and blockages particularly around the sacral / solar plexus area.
