DESCRIPTION

Here’s an antique, real life skeleton key, naturally rusted over its years of existence. I came across a group of these old keys in a small antique store in the village of Haworth, which some of you may know as the home of the three Brontë sisters - the famous English authors. 

This key is very long at 11.5 cm (4.5"). Please assess the size from the photo where the key is placed on the lace glove. I’ve attached it to the grey necklace cording with three spheres of Golden Sheen Obsidian, a nod to the three moons that are often associated with Hecate - the golden iridescence could be seen as the sunlight that creates the visual effect of a the crescent moon. The knotwork is highlighted with Black Tourmaline, Labradorite and Pyrite crystals. The ends of the necklace braids include two strands - this split symbolising crossroads, another symbol associated with Hecate.

Whilst the key in this talisman refers particularly to the connection with Hecate, keys of course carry general symbolism as well:
