Here's a unique object of art, a small one-of-a-kind treasure that I created on invitation to the 10th International Triennial of Artists' Books, curated by professor Kestutis Vasiliunas.

Title of the artist's book: Layers of Being
Diameter of the book 11.5 cm (4.5")
Book structure: the binding follows the ancient Indonesian palm leaf structure, with a few contemporary modifications
Main materials: paper, leather, pewter, gemstones
This artist book consists of round pages of laminated black card stock, housed in a round decorative leather pouch with pyrography markings and crystal / pewter detailing.

The 10th International Artist's Book Triennial Vilnius 2024 was a globally renowned, interdisciplinary art exhibition that showcased unique book creations from artists worldwide under the theme "To Be". This Artist's Book Triennial was initially launched in 1997 in Lithuania. I attended the first exhibition in 1997, and this book here is the one I was invited to submit for the final Triennial which was touring in 2024-2026 in locations such as Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Spain and the USA.
