DESCRIPTION

One-of-a-kind talisman necklace in reverence to Medusa, intended for someone who feels an affinity with the myth and fate of Medusa. This talisman evokes the strong feminine, claiming the power of the wronged one as a protective shield. The Red Coral here of course symbolising Medusa's blood, and the brass 'coin' depicting her hair of snakes. The necklace is minimally braided with black and reddish brown micro-macrame cords, strong and durable, yet soft and comfortable to wear. There's a small floret of crystals (Hematite and Black Coral) adorning one side of the necklace braid. The vertical pendant cairn also includes accents in Black Coral, Hematite and Copper Rutile Quartz. 

The necklace is adjustable from very short down to solar plexus level. The total length of the pendant cairn is 6.5 cm (2.5"). The diameter of the Red Coral is approx. 2 cm (0.8"). The brass 'coin' has a diameter of 2 cm (0.8").
