DESCRIPTION

This tiny little book took part in a juried art exhibition here in the UK, being paired with a miniature scroll and displayed with the title "Mythos & Logos". This is the Logos part of the pair, in codex format (meaning: our familiar, well-known Western book format) which I have bound by hand - first meticulously cutting and compiling the tiny pages, piercing the fold for sewing, then stitching them together and attaching the soft leather cover. This book has a small Quartz clasp to hold it close. Now made into wearable form, the black satin necklace braid attaches through the spine of the book, thus the foredge of the book with its clasp hanging downward. Other accent crystals on the cover design are Obsidian and copper-plated Hematite.

This is a fully functioning little book where you can decide to write something - perhaps mantras, affirmations, or something privately meaningful to you. This pendant is light in weight to wear and would look lovely combined with other eclectic pendants worn at varying levels for an individual style.

The outer measurements of the book are 3 cm (1.2") tall and 2.5 cm (1") wide, but the pages inside are slightly smaller: 2.5 cm (1") tall. The book has 38 leaves, making it 76 pages.

This book necklace comes in a reindeer leather pouch which has a diameter of 8 cm (3") when empty and closed. The pouch is decorated with asemic writing across the surface, and it has a decorative drawstring cord stopper consisting of Black Tourmaline, Pietersite, Lepidochrosite in Quartz and Rhodonite crystals.
