DESCRIPTION

This Larimar is like an ancient ocean wave solidified into stone. Maybe you can read its memories of fresh sea breeze by running your finger over the surface. I wanted the natural undulating edge of this stone to be reflected in the chiffon braid necklace. The blue chiffon also includes golden highlights woven in, reminiscent of light shimmering on ocean waves. The chiffon is combined with peace silk yarn ('peace silk' is a name of silk made by ethical process where no silk worms were harmed) and grey micro-macrame cord for added strength. The crystal accent strand on the sides of the main stone are Prasiolite, Mother of Pearl and further small Larimar crystals.

The necklace is set length, and simply slips over the head without any need for a clasp. The Larimar is approx. 4 cm (1.6") tall and approx. 2.5 cm (1") at its widest. The Larimar hangs down, if measured from the back of the neck to the top edge of the stone, at around 36 cm (14"). Thus the all-around measurement of the necklace braid being 72 cm (28").

There are no metals in this necklace so would be particularly suitable for those with metal sensitivities / metal allergy, energy workers and those who simply prefer not to wear metal.
