DESCRIPTION

'Web of Wyrd' one-of-a-kind runic talisman with a natural Smokey Quartz point as the focal crystal. The wooden rune disks are combined with small Turquoise Jasper and Chrysocolla crystals, the knotted strands joining together with Lava Stone.

The three rune aetts extend downwards as a tassel below the centre point crystal . The 24 Elder Futhark rune strands are laid in order, but the curly strands naturally mix and tangle like 'Threads of Fate', which makes this an ideal divination tool on the go: just hold the tassels in your hand, and pick a rune at random for a quick message. You can also use this talisman for meditation to invoke the energy of each rune as needed. Although there are 24 strands to incorporate the full Elder Futhark, this necklace is light in weight and thus comfortable to wear.

The necklace is minimally knotted with forest green micro-macrame cord. Matching crystals adorn the ends of the adjustable necklace cords as well. Each strand has a beech wood disk with a rune carved and burnt on both sides. The necklace braid is adjustable from as short as you wish down to solar plexus level. The runic tassel is approx. 7 cm (2.8") tall, measured from the centre crystal to the base of the tassel. Each wooden rune disc has a diameter of just over 1 cm (0.4"). The beech wood disks are infused with food-grade tung oil for strength and durability.
