There is a SEVERAL WEEKS' process of repeated sanding, oiling and drying, as well as for the final stage of gold application. I would only invoice you once your set is fully finished.

This is an unusual set of runes for casting and divination. 24 Elder Futhark runes, larger in size than rune pieces you normally find on sale. Rune markings are burnt on the slices of oak wood which are left natural with the bark rim intact. Each slice is sanded and oiled with food grade tung oil for durability and to guard against embedded dirt from handling. Each piece also includes a touch of 24 carat gold leaf.

The runes come either in a reindeer hide pouch (vegetable tanned, originating from Lapland) - OR a waxed brown cotton fabric pouch. Both have a drawstring closure.

If you opt for the leather pouch: you'll find a separate, circular piece of leather inside which can be used as a base to pile the runes on that are not in use, as well as covering the runes inside the pouch when it's closed. Both the pouch and the base circle include a bindrune marking that consists primarily of the runes Mannaz, Raidho and Ansuz, with the additional Tiwaz forming from the binding. You could call this bindrune "The Journey of the Wise Mind". Inside the leather pouch, when fully open, you'll find a pattern consisting of eight Algiz runes in a circle, like compass directions. You can use this pattern as a reading cloth, assigning meanings to each position and interpreting your runes in relation to those.

Each of the oak runes is organic and unique in its shape. Cut from the same branch, the sizes are not entirely uniform but on average each slice has slightly altering diameters of up to 4 cm (1.6") - some pieces may be a little smaller or little larger than this average size. The pieces are approx. 1 cm (0.4") thick.

The carry pouch,  whether leather or waxed cotton, has a diameter of approx. 20 cm (8").
